I'm sure you've all read this by now, but if you haven't, you really should. Very funny, though, as Matthew Yglesias recently noted, not quite as funny as this great New York Press moment. Both pieces have an extremely high giggle-to-word ratio.

The Internet knows you can do better, and demands more.

Just for the record, I discovered both New York Press pieces on my own. I was just trying to give credit to Yglesias because he's such a bright young whippersnapper, and he could use some of explananda's superhot link-traffic.
Actually, there is a reason that I sometimes post less-than-fresh links. Believe it or not, I know people who read explananda but not many other blogs, or even any other blogs at all. It is for this lame crowd that I sometimes pass on thrice-recycled material.
Posted by: Chris at April 22, 2005 02:39 PMPerhaps I'll try re-posting some of his stuff on my blog, its a black hole. I happened to catch Friedman on Charlie Rose excitedly explaining his epiphany about flatness. He comes off like Joseph Smith,"really I don't know how I ended up as a prophet" That is a truly funny piece.Thanks.
