Since the election, I've been reading more right wing blogs in an effort to figure those fellas out. Anyway, my favourite find so far is a blog called Power Line, which I think is giving me insights galore into the deep, dark psyches of right wingers in this country. Some choice posts: this fair and balanced comment on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, or this insightful look at who is really to blame for the disputed Ukrainian electoral results.

It looks like I caught them at the peak of their game too. Time Magazine just named them blog of the year. They also got praised by Lynne Cheney on television not so long ago. Congrats, guys, and keep up the good work!

You certainly must concede that any blog that thinks the country is called "Isreal" has to have true insight into the region.... Certainly, deserving of the bolg of the yaer award.

On a related note, I have it on good authority that Explananda is being considered for the Lance Fukomoto Lifetime Achievement Award in Journalism and Burlesque Entertainment by the Phoenis.

Yur a knob, Kegri. Do you know how high this site's google ranking is? The next time Beezer googles himself, he's gonna find this.

wow, if that passes for the best analysis the right-wing blogisphere has to offer, i might as well stop looking over there. (the ukrainian post was particularly stupid as it apparently never occurred to those guys that yushchenko challenged the official electoral results in the first ukrainian election)

oh, and chris you didn't cite some of the best stuff:

they two entire posts to attack the columnist. irony is dead. they also seem to think it's a conflict of interest for the columnist to criticize their blog without disclosing that the blog has previously criticized the columnist. apparently not everyone understands the difference between a conflict of interest and an ongoing debate.

yeah...except that i spelled his name with an "o" instead of a "u", and the gatehouse initiation scandal ("no really, tie their hands behind their backs") is still #1...btw, i hadn't realized that there was a gatehouse entry in wikipedia before.
