I took the test mentioned here, which calculates your “real age” based on your diet, exercise habits, etc., and compares it to your “biological age.” It also tells you your life expectancy.
So, apparently my real age is about 11, which would explain why, at the biological age of 34, I still don’t need to shave every day. Also, apparently I can look forward to living to be about 96.
Boy, I’ll bet this post will take on a special poignancy if I get killed in a freak accident before then!

“Today, July 31, 2007, your RealAge is 37.8!”
Great. My numerical age is 36.5. Being poor and bipolar has made me old.

Yeah, well, at least you’re not about to embark on the great journey that is puberty.

True enough. It was traumatic enough the first time.

I was 21, I think, but I had to fake a lot of the numbers since I don’t know my cholesterol etc. I also probably estimated my stress levels too low, but I couldn’t bring myself to admit just how stressed I feel over my empirically stress-free life.

i got 32.1. not bad for a 37 year old!
but, like anne, i guessed a lot of stuff. i have no idea what my cholesterol is, etc.
it’s also not right that you can see the life expectancy numbers change as you slide the bar up and down. when guestimating my stress level, for example, i was well-aware that a downward bias would be rewarded as i could see the results. it would be a better test if they hid the results from you until you’re done asking all the questions.

hey alif, my numerical age is 37.7. so don’t dispair. though i haven’t quite reached 37.8 yet, i can assure you that it really isn’t all that bad.

I actually took this test for the first time a while ago…last fall maybe? My age then was in the upper 40s, but since then I’ve started taking vitamins and exercising three times a week. And I don’t drink quite as much.

Just wanted to let you know that I am really 11.6 and will live to be 95. Let’s hook up when we hit puberty :)
