My hunch was always that he/she/they/it are grad students in philosophy, and in some way or another connected with Brown. But then I heard that someone actually did blow his/her/their/its cover, and then I felt guilty for wanting to know.
The truth is probably out there, if you really want to know.

i know. i know at least one real name, where at least one of them lives, and where he/she went to college. i’ve even seen a photo. (someone’s college buddy came by drinking liberally in philly a couple of months ago).
but i was sworn to secrecy. so i’m not talking. sorry

Well, I recognized actress Erin Gray and figured out that the names Atrios mentioned are from an old (1979) Buck Rogers TV show.
I have no idea how (or if) that is a hint. One episode was called “The Dorian Secret.”
10 minutes with Google provides some good guesses, however.
