I’m a bit under the weather now and also panicking about the upcoming semester. I do hope to get in a longer post on this subject soon, though. Sneak preview: Moral objections to torture and terrorism share important features in common. Reflecting a bit on these common features may help to bring out some of the, uh, quirks in mainstream political discourse about both subjects.
